Our Opinion: The Black Bull feels like its been around since before the castle. One of the few places that serve Velkopopovický Kozel. Do not order a Pilsner, as a “pivo” here is a Kozel. Well worth a visit. One of our absolute favorites. Nothing but drinking going on here. Stand around and wait for one of the 40 or so high demand, non-regular seats in back. This is a small place and high volume assures a fresh beer. No better place to erase the tourist culture you’ve just soaked up at the castle. This is a pub that’s hard to leave once you get a seat..
