Our Opinion: U Houbaře (the mushroom picker) is not in the center, but well worth an easy tram ride. It’s just four stops north on the #12 tram from Malostranská Naměsti (between the castle and the Charles Bridge) to the Veletržní stop (across the street from the National Gallery). See some art from the 18th century and then grab some lunch with a fine beer. This is another of the high volume Pilsner Urquell tank pubs. Enjoy the local Czech crowd in a bright red painted wood interior. The prices are truly Czech as is the food and beer.
